Author’s Note: There was an e-mail that had the words, “Tender Passions” and as soon as I’d read it... I had to write. What you READ is basically it. No more... no less. My Muse, fickle thing that she can be, decided that I would stop where I did.
Tender passions rule the night... Loves desires burn like a flame... Her lips taste like the sweetest of dreams... Her wants make me ache... The touch of her hand, leaves me quaking... Her scent drives me mad... Her name... Is a god-send. My love for her knows no bounds. My tears are of joy... Of knowing her... Mind... Body... and Soul. For without her... Days would just be a reminder of how long I’ve been alone. Surrounded by all... Loved... Truly... loved, by none.
Willow closed the book and glanced over to the sleeping form of her husband. Her eyes glistening with unshed tears. ‘We DO love you Rupert. We all do,’ she said silently to herself. She stood up from the desk, walked towards their bed; the one they’ve shared for over ten years, and quietly slipped underneath the sheets. Willow moved closer until she was able to place her head upon his chest. She heard Rupert sigh in his sleep as he instinctively pulled her closer until he was satisfied. Willow watched as he let sleep take him once again. “Rest darling,” she murmured softly. Willow’s thoughts darted back and forth. She would find out what had made him so... sad. She squeezed him once, holding on to him. Trying to infuse him the emotions she felt. Her body betrayed her good intentions as his breathing lulled her to sleep. ‘In the morning...’ she managed to ponder as she slipped into her dreams. The End.
